Delivering Reliable,
Functional Genetics

Welcome to Furracabad Angus

Breeding Angus & Angus Composite Heat Tolerant cattle Solely on Grass that improve the productivity, resilience, reliability and profitability of Australian grass fed beef operations.

Our goal is simple. To breed Angus & Angus Composite Heat Tolerant cattle that lift productivity, resilience, reliability and profitability in Australian grass fed beef systems.

Every decision we make, is designed to support grass fed commercial beef producers. Moderate framed cattle with fertility, calving ease and muscling, BRED IN not fed in with strong early growth, efficient finishing and consistent long term performance.

We operate as a low input, Angus seedstock and beef producer based in Glen Innes, NSW. As land and environmental custodians, we actively build biodiversity through natural regenerative and sustainable management practices whilst producing a profitable efficient grass fed performance herd.

Our cattle, including sale bulls, are bred, grown and proven under real commercial conditions solely on grass.

Grass only. Mineral supplements only. No grain. No supplementary feed.

We measure success by kilograms of beef produced per hectare. Not kilograms per animal.

Our genetic selection focuses on what matters in the paddock.

We measure success by kilograms of beef produced per hectare. This is where profit is made. Not kilograms per animal.

The result is Angus & Angus Composite Heat Tolerant cattle built for grass. Reliable. Efficient. Commercially relevant.

Grass Fed Performance Bulls

Genetics that improve the productivity, resilience, reliability and profitability of Australian grass fed beef operations.

With global demand continuing to grow for natural grass fed beef, producers need cattle that can perform efficiently in real paddock conditions. Furracabad Angus and Angus Composite Heat Tolerant bulls are bred with this outcome in mind.

Selection centres on high fertility, strong maternal function, moderate frame and genuine grass fed efficiency and finishing ability. These bulls are designed to sire calves that calve easily, grow efficiently on grass, hold condition and finish solely on grass without high inputs.

This supports producers wanting bulls that are focused on reliability, resilience and long term profitability. By producing more kilograms of beef per hectare rather than chasing size per animal, Furracabad Angus bulls align with producers who value efficiency, land care and commercially relevant performance.
