This is the first bull we purchased from Pharo Cattle Company (PCC) in our journey to reprofile the genetic make-up of our Cattle. This bull has excellent Maternal Traits of Calving Ease (Top 1%), Birth Weight (Top 1%), Short Gestation (Top 10%) together with the ability to turn grass into kilograms of beef – Grass Efficiency Top 3%. 

His lower mature cow weight and frame size helped us bring down our cow size whilst maintaining the thickness and muscling we desired in the Furracabad herd. Conquistador has been used extensively in our breeding program and his genetics are really showing within our herd the beautiful phenotype females with thickness and depth. 

His daughters are displaying the longevity that we require, and they continue to wean a good calf every year. This bull has also been used extensively within the PCC Bull Program in the USA.
